Arctic, CM a Scythe vs. Core i7-870

Tématem pro dnešní srovnávací test se staly tři procesorové chladiče nižší střední třídy, které by tedy měly zaujmout především výhodným poměrem výkon / cena. Jedná se o zbrusu nový Arctic Freezer 13, pak Cooler Master Hyper TX3 a Scythe Samurai ZZ.

V tomto testu jsme si předvedli výkon chladiče Arctic Freezer 13 a s ním také dalších dvou modelů od společností Cooler Master a Scythe. Jako nejvýkonnější se ukázal nový Frezer 13, ovšem ani Scythe Samurai ZZ nebyl vůbec špatný. K dokončení testu je ale také třeba znát víc než jen výkon.
Nezanedbatelným ukazatelem je totiž samozřejmě také pořizovací cena, takže se mrkneme na orientační ceny chladičů v Kč s DPH:
Cenové rozpětí testovaných chladičů tedy není moc velké a zhruba také odpovídá předvedenému výkonu, jak by tomu ostatně mělo být. Výsledkem testu tedy je, že za své peníze dostanete od chladičů adekvátní výkon. Ani jeden nemá problém s uchlazením cca 100W procesorů, ovšem Arctic Freezer 13 je v tom nejlepší a hned v závěsu za ním je Scythe Samurai ZZ, který zase mírně vynikal nad ostatními díky nízké hlučnosti při stejných otáčkách. Navíc se u něj nemusíme starat o to, zda na náš AMD socket půjde nainstalovat s vhodnou orientací, protože na tom u něj jednoduše nezáleží.
Poslední testovaný chladič Cooler Master Hyper TX3 je sám o sobě slušný chladič, ale před ostatními dvěma modely dokáže obstát pouze díky nižší ceně. My jsme se ale hlavně z článku dozvěděli, že Arctic Freezer 13 je důstojným nástupcem Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2. Ovšem toto není poslední test na našem serveru, v němž se bude obhajovat, takže třeba se příště ukáže nějaký jiný chladič, který jej dokáže zastínit.
In today's test we have demonstrated cooling performance of Arctic Freezer 13 and two more coolers by Cooler Master and Scythe. The new Freezer 13 happened to be the most powerful model in the test, but Scythe Samurai ZZ also was not bad at all. But to make the final conclusion, we have to know more than that and that is price, of course.
Price range of the tested coolers is not that broad and the sums also correspond to the coolers' performances, as they should anyway. Therefore, one might say that in this case you get what you paid for and that none of the coolers is incapable of cooling cca 100W processor. Still, Arctic Freezer 13 was the best and Scythe Samurai ZZ not far behind him. Moreover, Samurai ZZ seemed to me as the quietest cooler from all, especially on low RPMs and his another advantage is, that we do not have to care about its orientation on AMD sockets, because it simply does not mater.
Cooler Master Hyper TX3 itself is a decent cooler, but in comparison with the others it can offer just lower price. So let's conclude that Arctic Freezer 13 is a proper successor to old Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2; however, this is not the last time we see it in our tests, so there may appear some other model that will put it in the shade.
