Závěrečné hodnocení chladičů, i když je jasné, že výkonnostním králem pouze s ohledem na teploty je Cooler Master Gemin II, ovládnou procenta. Nejdříve se podíváme, jak jsou na tom chladiče procentuelně z hlediska výkonu. Chladič s nejvyšším výkonem, tedy Gemin II, je zde prezentován maximem a od jeho výkonu se odvíjejí ostatní chladiče. Procenta vypovídají o zprůměrovaných teplotách.

První je tedy Cooler Master Gemin II a jako druhý se umisťuje Thermalright Ultra-120, jenž již využívá jeden 120mm ventilátor a dá se tedy již v tomto ohledu považovat za rovnocenného soupeře i pro ostatní chladiče. Následuje graf ukazující poměr cena/výkon, tedy poměr, jakých výsledků dosáhly různě drahé chladiče. Zde je vyobrazena cena, za níž si pořídíte jeden výkonnostní bod.

Zde jsem bral v potaz i to, jestli chladiče byly nebo nebyly schopny procesor uchladit, protože pokud do tohoto srovnání vstupuje cena, musí sem vstoupit i otázka, zda je chladič za takovou cenu pro účely chlazení výkonných procesorů vůbec použitelný. Chladiče, u nichž se teplota v některém z testů vyhoupla nad 70°C byly označeny šedým sloupcem a z dalšího boje o ceny jsem je vyřadil. Týkalo se to modelů Pentagram Freezone HP-100 AlCu Lite, Thermaltake Golden Orb II a Zalman CNPS7500-Cu LED. Není náhodou, že velmi levné chladiče dosáhly sice velmi dobrého poměru cena / výkon, ale na stanovený úkol nestačily.

Nakonec tedy nejlepší výkon a koneckonců i slušný poměr cena / výkon měl chladič

Best of Test

, které patří výrobku, jenž za rozumnou cenu (ovšem bez ventilátorů) poskytne nejlepší výkon. Nevýhodou tohoto chladiče jsou jeho nároky na prostor a tím i možná nekompatibilita. Ale s tím musíme u podobných chladičů počítat.

Ocenění TREFA získává Thermalright Ultra-120

Opomenout nesmíme samozřejmě také výkonnostního krále mezi chladiči s jedním ventilátorem -

. Ten ve všech testech dosáhl ve své třídě nejlepších výsledků a za to si zaslouží ocenění

. Nevýhodou je jeho cena, která je druhá nejvyšší. Slušnou cenu a dostatečný výkon naopak nabízí chladič

, jenž jen trochu zaostává za rovněž výbornými modely Noctua NH-U12 a NH-U9, avšak ty (ve verzi F, tedy s ventilátorem) mají o něco horší poměr cena / výkon. Za slušný výkon a rovněž i cenu si ještě zaslouží vyzdvihnout Pentagram Freezone HP-120AlCu (neboli "přebarvený" Thermaltake Big Typhoon)

The final conclusion, even though the winner is according to results Cooler Master Gemin II, will be about percentages. At first we will look at the viewpoint of cooling performance. The cooler with the best performance, Gemin II, is represented by maximal value and other coolers' performance is determined accordingly. The values represent average temperatures of each cooler.

The best cooling performance has, as I mentioned, Cooler Master Gemin II and the second place belongs to Thermalright Ultra-120. This cooler uses one 120mm fan and therefore we may consider it as a equal opponent to other coolers, which Gemin II is not. The next graph shows the price / performance ratio - in other words, how differently priced coolers performed. Units are in fact price of one performance point in CZK.

I also had to reflect coolers' ability to cool the processor to a safe level, because when we consider price, we also have to take note of coolers' serviceability - whether they can or cannot be used with very powerful and hot CPUs. The coolers which in some point didn't manage to cool our CPU under 70°C were marked with grey columns and also excluded from the following struggle for prizes. Those were models Pentagram Freezone HP-100 AlCu Lite, Thermaltake Golden Orb II and Zalman CNPS7500-Cu LED. Not by chance did very cheap coolers reach extremely good price / performance ratio, but otherwise they couln't cope with the test requirements.

In the end, the best performance was of course reached by

Cooler Master Gemin II

which is awarded

BEST OF TEST

prize. It belongs to a product which for reasonable price (in this case with no fans) provides the best performance. However, this cooler is very space demanding and therefore it may not be compatible with some motherboards. This is something we have to consider when buying such a cooler.

We also mustn't forget the performance king among coolers with one fan -

. This cooler reached in each test the best results (in its class) and this is why it is awarded

prize. The greatest disadvantage is its price - the second highest. On the other hand, very reasonable price and sufficient performance shows cooler

which is slightly less powerful than excellent Noctua NH-U12 and NH-U9. But these (version F - with fan) have worse price / performance ratio. Good performance and price can offer also Pentagram Freezone HP-120AlCu (camouflaged Thermaltake Big Typhoon).
